If I lost my DA account I'd go ahead and make a new one right away.  It's unbelievably easy to make friends on that site, which is a good thing! Just comment on other people's art regularly with a smile and you're pretty much good to go.  Though DA's policies are a little cloudy, since sometimes they ban people for no reason, and other times they fail to permanently ban repeat offenders.

I had a problem with one little weaisil that made multiple accounts and keept abusing myself and a mate of mine. I had to hide like 30 or 40 messages off my hp and artworks. He even made an artwork that said "(name disclosed) is a fag" or something like that. He had little artistic skill and got joy out of saying nasty things about ppl. He was deluded and thought his website was fantastic and everyone else's was crap.
Eventually they got rid of him permanently but it took allot of messages from me and allot of pain.

Oh, I hate people like that! There was this one guy who I met on a DA chatroom and he was complaining about how people didn't accept his various views. I replied that I agreed with some of them and he was pleasantly surprised, inviting me to his page, but adding that he wouldn't be shocked if I didn't go there after all. So I decided to surprise him by going there three days later and commenting in good detail on a bunch of his artworks. He was very rude, said something like I wasn't helping him, and hid all my comments. Jerk.
