Hi.
I came across this forum through google. The forum I had been going to for quite awhile seemed to have disappeared without any warning, and I was trying to see if I could find out about why through google search. It was also "Powered by phpBB" (like at the bottom of this forum), so I put that in my search to see if I could bring up a cache of it or something (to no avail sadly). Anyway, while looking I found this site and it seems to be a pretty nice anime/manga forum. I have been getting bored lately without an anime forum to visit, so I thought I would try this one.
I like various kinds of anime and manga, my username is from the series "Saint Seiya" (I don't know if anyone here knows much about it or not, but it is a favorite of mine).
Thanks for taking the time to read my introduction post. I hope to post more soon. |

Ahh yes. I see we are 6th on the search for 'anime manga forum powered by phpbb'.
We are about 8 months old and evolved from a massive runescape forum. Hope to see you around.

Thanks for the welcome.
I've heard of Runescape, but never played it. I don't know much about PC games really (I'm not really that good with computers). I played the game "Guild Wars" for about a month though. It was pretty fun (but then I got tired of all the updates I had to wait for almost every day just to log in and play the game). |

Dude,
Nice of you to join us. I'm Wark, I draw manga and realism of all sorts. I love nu-metal and industrial metal music.
I like anime and manga of all sorts; preferably ones with some great action, but among the ones I like best are the ones with good clean humor and maybe some sweet romance.
Do you draw much? Maybe we could teach each other some things. I'm currently away from my scanner but I drew something pretty sa-weet earlier today that I'll share at the end of this week.

I like all sorts of anime too. If the anime is good I enjoy it, whatever the genre.
I am not very good at drawing. I do have to take a Drawing I class starting next week (it is a required class, well, either it or a Dramatic Arts class - but I don't want to be in a play or anything). Maybe I could ask this place for advice once I start class. I am kind of worried about it, hopefully I will improve thanks to the class though. I was supposed to take a 2-D Design class during Summer school so I wouldn't have to take this one, but it was cancelled. Oh well.

Your drawing class is a requirement? I am no longer required to draw, so I've been self-taught mostly. I like it that way because I can learn at my own pace much better.

Yeah unfortunately (for me anyway) it is a requirement (that or Drama anyway, but I guess I'd rather try to learn to draw than be in a strange play). |
