After a great many years of frustration over not knowing how to CG (means "computer graphics but is used instead to mean the verb "to color"), I've finally took it upon myself to develop an efficient way to CG with no tablet. Just a mouse, a few tools in Photoshop CS2, and a lot of patience and creativity.
The following picture took a lot more effort to color than you might think, so please tell me what you think of my CGing attempt.

Not too bad...try giving the writing a slightly more "smudgy" look...it's too sharp so it looks fake. |

No, but Dodgy really did write and draw all that on looseleaf. All I did was practice coloring it by scanning it up to my computer and adding color with Photoshop CS2.

This next one I drew a month ago, but it's still recent and I just decided to show it. I'm very proud of it, so tell me what you think, everyone! It's a practice of consistency in drawing the same character over and over.
The character below is from my comic Supafly. His name is Santiago Garcia, he is of Mexican descent, 18 years old, and is a pretty good marksman. His hoodies' pockets are modified to be holsters for his two Glock 19 handguns.
I finally got the details I wanted on the third try. I'm going to try to keep his looks that way from now on.

I personally color with Photoshop CS2. It rawks. 
The GIMP is great, what the heck are you talking about? There's a guy I know at another forum who makes phenomenal art that is on par with the Photoshop-colored art of the other people. You just need to figure out ways to work the thing to your liking.
Anyway, I experimented with CGing again today after reading through a list of comments on the first CG in this thread (I posted it Tabbi and Crow on another forum.) Tell me what you think. This is Foxy "Debbie" Weber, another one of my comic's characters. She is freakin' cooool. ^^
